Here's why I think everyone should avoid going to court, and instead use an experienced private "judge".
Overly Complex Court Procedures
It's essentially impossible for individuals and businesses to effectively represent themselves in court without a lawyer. I believe this is by design, to keep lawyers in business. The rules and procedures are so complex that even a seasoned lawyer has difficulty appearing in an unfamiliar jurisdiction. I believe this is also by design.
When a problem that does not exist is created, and then the solution to that problem is provided, it is generally considered to be a racket.
